THE MISSION
The mission of the East Tennessee Homeland Security Council
includes: 
- Identifying local agency resources that benefit homeland
security efforts.
- Promoting local agency resource sharing.
- Facilitating local agency information sharing.
- Working with federal and state officials to ensure
that homeland security monies are available for distribution to
local agencies where they can help protect citizens at
the local level.
- Developing public/private partnerships that can support
and improve homeland security efforts.
