THE MISSION

The mission of the East Tennessee Homeland Security Council includes:

  • Identifying local agency resources that benefit homeland security efforts.
  • Promoting local agency resource sharing.
  • Facilitating local agency information sharing.
  • Working with federal and state officials to ensure that homeland security monies are available for distribution to local agencies where they can help protect citizens at the local level.
  • Developing public/private partnerships that can support and improve homeland security efforts.
